I’ve needed to cut trees close to the house since I started building some years ago. Under different circumstances, I would have cut all the trees necessary before I started building, but since this was a different kind of build I’ve been doing things out of order. During this trip, I decided the trees close to the house must go. I’m not the best person for this job since the trees are within striking distance from the house, but I had to do what I had to do. Things were going well until I cut a larger tree near the house. I did not consider the limbs high in the tree leaning towards the house before I started cutting, which meant the weight of the limbs would cause the tree to fall in a different direction from where I wanted. Fortunately, there was not too much damage when it fell, so I’m pleased it did not bring down the house. Thanks for watching!! The adventures continue!
