At one point I thought there would be no rain this trip to the woods, but fortunately, rain came to the woods. Rain was significant this trip because I made repairs to the chimney area of the roof and rain was the only way to test the repair to make sure it was repaired correctly and completely.
There was more rain than I bargained for as it rained for almost 24 hours and there was a tornado watch overnight. Needless to say, there was enough rain to test the repair thoroughly. The repair held up great! There were no leaks!
Since there was plenty of rain, there was no sun which meant I could not generate enough energy to charge my batteries to have power in the house. I could not work outside because of the rain but there was plenty to work on inside. I used the generator to provide power for my saws and drills. Also, because of the rain, I could not move the trees I cut down a few days ago to make room for my storage shed.
One of the objectives on my list for this trip was to construct a storage shed to remove materials in the house that are now getting in the way of my work without having to move things from one side of the room to the other as I work.
