The tree planting ceremony is one of the longest-running events in Los Angeles County, hosted by The American Legion Star Post #309. John Nabakken has been involved with Star Post #309 since his Navy days and shares a few details of his “Lifetime of Service” in the Navy, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and The American Legion Star Post #309.
