There’s something in us that seems almost innate that causes us to want to celebrate our accomplishments and milestones. I’m not sure what that thing is but I’ve been getting reminders just about every weekend as I see more and more “Drive-By” graduations.
All graduating classes of 2020 regardless of whether it’s from kindergarten, middle school, high school, college, grad school, medical school, or any other school will have no graduations because of COVID-19. What has become the workaround of sorts is the “Drive-By” graduation. My daughter Alaina is graduating from high school this month (June) so her mom put together a “Drive-By” Graduation for her to coincide with her being awarded a Scholarship from Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
