It’s been just over a year since I’ve been considering myself a “Content Creator” on YouTube. My channel 7thson Productions is kind of a variety channel as I create videos on topics I like. On my channel, I have a few playlists. They are titled: “Creative Corner” where I interview creative people in various creative disciplines to find out why they do what they do and what they get from doing it. I have “The Small House Project” where I document the process of me building a small house in the woods from start to finish. I also have a playlist titled: “Successful Marriages.” In that playlist, I ask married couples one question regarding their marriage and from their answers, I put together a 3 to 4-minute video. I have another playlist titled: “Books. In this playlist, I show videos I’ve created for the three books I’ve published, and lastly, I have “Auto Videos“, I create videos of modified cars.
I don’t create any of these videos for money, or for anyone other than myself. I do it because I like to tell stories. Normally I write and create photographs, but since I’ve been introduced to video, currently it’s been the best form of storytelling. I’ve been fortunate that a few people here and there like the content enough to subscribe. My channel is by no means a fast-growing channel but I’m fortunate that a people are interested enough to subscribe.
Since I’m going against the stated rule of creating a niche and sticking with it to quickly grow a YouTube channel the video below was created to see ask my subscribers what playlist or video was interesting enough to have them subscribe to my channel. This information will be helpful to me in the future to create videos my subscribers are interested in seeing.
Take a look, and don’t forget to subscribe and hit that grey bell to get updates.
I’d like to hear from you also.
