Shanna explained, “God and Prayer makes their marriage successful—–never going to bed mad or upset, never going an hour being mad or upset. We say what we have to say. If we get to a point where we’re really upset, we’ll leave and come back, so we don’t say something we might regret later. We always try to talk it out. At first, we didn’t, but over the years, we’ve learned, because our kids were watching. We wanted to show them a successful marriage. We wanted to show them how to handle different things when they are in a marriage, so they are able to handle them successfully.”
