“Robert & Stella Wilson III – College Park, Georgia Married 46 years – Anniversary: December 24, 1971”
“You’re not going to have a perfect marriage, every day is not going to be Sunday.” — Robert”
“Stella interjected, “When we were going through our challenges and our difficulties, I knew that the man I married was not the man in my house, even though the qualities were still there. I prayed for my husband, and I prayed for our relationship and asked the Lord to give me guidance and wisdom to get through this. We had good times during those 5 years, so going through all that, I knew I loved him, but there is only so much a person can take if you are not being reciprocated. We had a ‘come-to-Jesus’ meeting about our marriage and relationship, and where it was going. I let him know I could not continue in this relationship, if there was no change on his part, because I deserved more than what I was getting, as a wife, and I wanted more from my husband.”
